Show Nephi. l he string band expects to get the contract to play at Garfield Beach this soason. ' James Larson, wno at one time was a residence of Ephraim, expostmastar of Nephi.was crushed and buried in a mine at Eureka last Friday. A concert was given by the Woman's Suffrage association last Tuesday for the benefit of the public library. The republicans are in it and seem to be in the swim. The schools adjourned last Friday for a week's vacation. Efforts are being made to form a theatrical circuit of Utah, Jaab, Sanpete San-pete and Sevier counties. There was a masquerade ball given here on March 22. The Misse Henri ette and Effie Cox, and Susie Witbeck, and Joseph Witbeck and Paul Alder of Manti were present. |
