Show Another Jordan Victim. John Ball was drowned in the Jordan river last evening between six and seven o'clock. The deceased, in company with four or five compauiors, was swimming swim-ming in Cannon's dam, and evidently was taken with a cramp. He Bank in thirty feet of water. The young man was about niueteen years, old, and resided re-sided with his mother, who keeps a small store on State Road, near Seventh South. The unfortunate lad was at one time employed by the Benton-Gardner company, but for the last few months had been filling the position of janito at the Third school. Two sisters of the deceased are out of the City, aud have not jet been apprised of their brother' fate.
