Show The Literary club met at the home of Mrs. M. H. Pool with the new officers taking charge. They are Mrs. Emnia Smith, president; Mrs. Asenatn' Pool, vice-president; Mrs. Gwen 'Smith, secretary, and Mrs. Susan Baxter, Mrs. Ruth Williams Wil-liams and Miss Gladys Gospill as the membership Committee. Mrs. Baxter gave the lesson from the magazine "'McArthur". Refresh, ments were served by the hostess. Mrs. L. H. Erickson, the former Miss Marie Mastros, is in Milford enjoying a visit with her mother, Mrs. L. P. Coleman, and other relatives and friends. Her husband is engaged in erecting water towers tow-ers and other equipment for army camps and has teen . located at Santa Ana, California for some time .but is uncertain just where he will be located in the future. Mrs. Erickson thus will be aWe to enjoy a longer visit in Milford than she had expected. |
