Show I Recreation Center Plans I The Milford recreation center; will open June 1 at 1:00 p.m. at; the former Library building, i I Tickets will be 10c and all children ; from 3 to 16 must have tickets. In families where three or more chil- ' dren attend, tickets will be at the rate of three for 25c. j Each Friday free tickets will be : given to all boys- and girls who j have attended class for four days during the week. For the past two years our Mil- j ford boys and girls have done a ' lot of splendid work and have shown their resourcefulness in many ways by using all sorts of make-shift materials, so let's give j them a break this year and make Milford the outstanding recrea- tion center in the state. Any of your waste materials, such as scraps of board, wall board, cardboard card-board or glass, or left-over bits of j paint, varnish or enamel will be gladly accepted at the Center and put to a good use by the students. stu-dents. With each purchase of $1.00 worth of tickets during the week of June 1 a beautiful colored bird for your flower pot will be given free. Admission free on opening day to all boys and girls. Tickets will be on sale that day at the Center. The cost, 10c for three hours, is less than the cost of a baby tender. v 1 |
