Show -w OUR CEMETERY O'.ir dear, beloved dead we robe in white. We touch with reverent hands their j shining hair. We watch beside them through the endless night, And drink the dregs from our cup of dispalr. And then we lay them tenderly away In the blessed earth that meets our every need. And struggle on throughout the endless end-less day ! And think that life Is desolate, ln-S ln-S deed. j.ut thankful should we feel that time will heal .The aching void within our hearts; For life would be a mad-house could j we feel i That all was ended when death bids j us part. Still, though the years will ease the bitter pain, I Their resting place we should hold sacredly, I And never should the weeds grow up I agaan. Where our loved dead sleep dream-', dream-', lessly. And e're the day approaches we go. To lay the flowers on their resting place. Could we not take a little time and grow A flower where the tumble-weeds deface. de-face. But let the snowball bloom In splendor splen-dor sweet. And clear the lot of every single i weed. For then their rest would be calm, complete. But now the place is desolate indeed.
