Show IUMH.E SHOWER The Ladles Aid of the Methodist j church entertained at bundle shower at the home of Mrs. W. F. Cottrell, j Tuesday afternoon from 2 to 5 in honor of Mrs-. May Johnson Chilton, a bride cf la:-t week. Bouquets of ansy blossoms were used as decorations. deco-rations. Music and social time was enjoyed during the arrival of the guests. During the afternoon, Mrs. Chil-hn Chil-hn was asked to retire from the! I w.m to prepare f.r inn'ation into j 'he rov-e-keepor's union. Whiie out, I'arh of the guests were provided with some article used about the home and when the bride entered, blind-folded, escorted by Mrs. Roy Cottrell. she was asked to state the name of each article. Having proved herself worthy to become a member of the union, by her correct answers, to nearly every article, she was then given the obligation of the order by the president. Mrs. W. F. Cottrell. She was then prcvklea with a clothes pin and clothes basket and told to .o and take in her first washing, i The guests followed her to the dining din-ing room, where she found a clothes iine hanging loaded with bundles which she unpinned and placed in the basket, tak'ng them to the reception re-ception room where she unwrapped ach beautiful article. A delicious luncheon of ice cream, cake and coffee was served by the hostess. Covers were laid for thirty s?ven guests. Plce cards and napkins nap-kins used were the blue bird designs. de-signs.
