Show THREE HURT IN ACCIDENTS IN THISJICIN1TY L. Joseph, son of Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Joseph of Minersville, met with a very serious accident Sunday while riding a horse on the range, looking after cattle. In some way he was thrown from the horse with such force as to cause a compound fracture frac-ture of the left leg. His younger brother was with him who tried to get him to the house, but was unable, so went to his home which was three miles away for help. Dr. Swanson was called to reduce the fracture and the little fellow is getting along as well as can be expected. Aubrey Cartwright and Warren Fernley were both thrown from ahi-cycle ahi-cycle which struck a stone, while they were riding to the lower valley, Saturday of last vek. Aubrey's arm was bruised on the wrist bone, and Warren was hurt on the head. Both are getting along fine. Andy Winkle met with a very bad accident Wednesday morning, whe" a tire he was working on at the V-p-Wormer garage, blew out, striking him in the mouth, knocking out several sev-eral teeth and bruising the jaw, also cutting his upper lip so that several stitches had to be taken. He was unconscious un-conscious for several hours, but is getting along nicely. |
