BRAVE FIRE LADS Sunday noon Just as church was letting out our brave and efficient i.rc 'brigade was summoned by the thrilling clang of the fire bell and right promptly did they respond. The fire was In the hen coop at the rear of J. Blumberg's residence, on North Stoddard. Soon the fire fighters had several streams of wafer playing on the building and after showing much skill and some bravery, brav-ery, the fire was brought under control, con-trol, but not until the building was1 completely wrecked. Cause of the fire is supposed to have been an over-heated setting hen The loss is variously estimated at from $3.25 to $19.50. No insurance was carried by the unfortunate owner.
