Osborn, Edward Bardsley and A. J. McMullen, all of the Beaver Bea-ver Lake Mining district, went into Salt Lake to spend the holidays. Mr. and Mrs. C W. Johnson announce an-nounce the arrival of a nine and one half pound baby girl born December 21. Mrs Ralph Pitchforth and daughter. daugh-ter. Betty, of Salt Lake, accompanied by Sue Kesler arrived Sunday to remain during the holidays with relatives rel-atives and friends. Mr. and Mrs. Lee Erickson aru leaving for Salt. Lake the latter part of next week, where they will make their future home. Mrs. M. Moore of Long Beach, California, Cal-ifornia, is the guest of her sons during dur-ing the week. She is enroute to Salt Lake, where she will remain during the winter. Lavon Bird, son of Bishop and Mrs E. H. Bird, arrived Friday from the B. Y. U. at Provo, to spend the holidays with his parents. Mis3 Betty Himstreet arrived from St. Mary's ocademy the latter part of last week to spend the holiday vacation va-cation with her parents. Mr. and Mrs C. I. Himstreet. Howard Gospill arrived from the A. C , where he has been attending school, Friday of last week, to remain re-main during the holidays. Mr. and Mrs. J. H. McCann of Cal-iente. Cal-iente. arrived Friday to spend the week with Mrs. McCan's parents Mr. and Mrs. Dan James. Miss Estelle Griffiths and Thelma Tanner returned to Salt Lake Wednesday, Wed-nesday, after spending the holiday-, here with their parent?. j Harry Coon returned to Alex, Idaho, Ida-ho, Tuesday, after spending some time with his wife and -friends Mrs. Coon will remain here with her parants, Mr. and Mrs. Roy White, during the remainder of the winter months. Wm. Fernley and family and Mr. and Mrs. Maurice Johnson, were dinner din-ner guests Christmas at the home of Mr. Fernley's parents in Beaver. Mrs. Estelle Manuel of Black Rock is in Milford today en route to Los Angeles to spend a month with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Van Fleet. R. R. Bishop of Salt Lake, was here on Tuesday attending to business busi-ness connected with the Railroad company. Mrs. A. J Atkin received word yesterday of the death of her father, Mr. S. S. Jones, of Provo. Mrs. Atkin leaves today to attend the funeral services. Among those who attended the S. B. A. card party from Beaver, were: Mrs. Clara Howd and Mrs. Lottie Pearce. Mr. D. R. Roper received the sad news Wednesday, of the death of hi mother, at I'ortl.ind, Oregon. She was S6 years of age. Mrs. F. It. Levi entertained at a dinner party Christmas afternoon in honor o fMonto Levi, Miss Lerenda Gleascn, Mr. and Mrs A. Johnson and family, and the Levi family. The S. B. A. entertained with a card party Thursday evening in the I. O O. F. hall, which proved to be a great success, both socially and financially, finan-cially, with a large attendance from Milford and Beaver. A delicious luncheon was sorved at midnight. |
