Word was received here Tuesday morning that Mrs. Hannah Reese of Provo, dropped dead1 at her stove, while preparing her Christmas dinner. din-ner. Some little time ago, Mrs. Reese had a stroke of paralysis and it is thought this was the cause of her death. Sherlff-e,Iect Jack Sherwood was in town on business Monday. Pratt Root of Milford, was a Beaver Bea-ver visitor Tuesday. Mr Mid Mrs. Ross Cuttler entertain enter-tain at their home at Adamsville TteFf'a- with a dinner. The guests were Mr. and Mrs. Ennis Jones, Mrs. Lottie Pearce and Grandma Vincent. Mrs. Caroline MaCheson has been sick for about two weeks with la-grippe la-grippe at her home. She is improving slowly. Her dughter, Mrs. Morrison Hickman of Richfield, is here caring for her, also her son James Matheson came about a week ago from View Point, Idaho to be with her. Mrs. Hortense Barber, who has been spending a couple of months here visiting friends, and relatives, returned to her home in Salt Lake Tuesday. Mrs. Jos. R. Murdock left Wednesday Wednes-day morning for Salt Lake City to spend the holidays with her sister, Mrs. Ernest Hodges. Mrs, W. F. Knox left Friday to join her son, Wallace, who is attending attend-ing school at Stanford University, at Barstow, California, From there they will go to Pheonix, Arizona to spend the Christmas holidays with Mrs. Knoxs' sister, Mrs. Fennemore. - Harry Martin, expert automobile mechanic, of Milford, being exceedingly exceed-ingly liberal, one day last week, passed pas-sed the drinks from a little bottle, to some of our citizens, and as a result the judge said $50 or 30 days. Miss Grace Piummer of Montana, has been engaged to fill the vacancy vacan-cy in the Milford school, caused by the resignation of Bert Griffiths, who will take his office as county clerk, the first of January. Miss Piummer Is a niece of Mrs. Rachel Jefferson of Milford. |
