Show HIGH SCHOOL j PROPOSITION A delegation from the Milford Women's Civic association composed of Mesdames Frizzell, Atkin, Orwin. Pitchforth, Levi and Nebeker, attended attend-ed the regular Thursday noon lunch last week at the Atkin cafe. Mrs. Atkin At-kin had made special arrangements and served the guests with a genuine fried spring chicken dinner, which was very much enjoyed and appreciated appre-ciated by all present. The subject up for discussion was one of vital importance to Milford and its future: "How Can Our High School he Improved." Mr. Sloan, member of the Beaver county board of education, was present pres-ent and gave a lengthy talk on the attitude of the board and its willingness willing-ness to cooperate with both parents and students in making the school bigger and better, hut he said that the parents must guarantee that pupils pu-pils who started the school year must finish and not drop out leaving some of -the classes with but two or three pupils at the close of the year. Mrs. Nebeker, speaking for the M W. C. A. said their organization I would canvass the district and see how many scholars could be found, who would agree to attend the school for the year. Mr. Sloan said that this was necessary, neces-sary, so the board of education would know how many teachers to provide for the coming term. He also said that he would try to have.
