Water Washington Seven or eight thousand thous-and persons are homeless in the flood-striken flood-striken town of Leon, Mexico, American Ameri-can Vice Consul Taylor at Aguas Cal-ientes, Cal-ientes, Mexico, reported to the state department. The poorer sections of the city have been badly damaged. The number of dead is still unknown. Funds are needed, he said, for shelter and to remove debris and refuse to gurad against the danger of epidemics. So far there are no Americans reported report-ed missing. The American Red Cross is making a study in view of sending additional supplies in addition to $5000 already sent to the Mexican Red Cross. |
