Show Power Co. Victim of Expensive Prank The electric light trouble of Tuesday Tues-day night, when Milford was thrown into total darkness, lasting for several sev-eral hours, was caused by some one throwing a piece of wire about 20 feet long over the main line about two miles south of Milford. A number num-ber of linemen worked several hours in the darkness before the trouble was finally located. This was expensive ex-pensive to the power company, caused a great deal of inconvenience to many others, and was a very dangerous prank for the guilty party or parties. Had they or any ' one else come in contact with the high voltage through the loose wire instant electrocution would have no doubt been the result. The Telluride Power company is doing its best to give good service to its patrons, and should not be put to this trouble and expense by some foolish prank. a |
