A delightful luncheon was ser-g ser-g ved to the following: Pearl Thiessen, Lita Cowley, Metta Weston, Aileen Farmer, Mjildred Coon, Laura Hoag-I Hoag-I land and Marie Lewis. Bridge Party Mrs. H. F. Chanslor entertained the Double Four bridge club at her home Tuesday evening. High score for points was won by Mrs. M. P. Lewis. High score for honors, Mrs. Leo Shee- han. Those present were; Mrs. J. H. Weston, Mrs. M. P. Lewis, Mrs. Al Cline, Mrs. G. C. Rodgers, M(rs. Harry Yeager, Mrs. G. C. Cuddy and Mrs. M. H. Pool was the invited guest, -Club Has Banquet The Jolly Nine club held a banquet at the Union Pacific dining room, Tuesday evening. The table was tastefully decorated in Easter colors. Those present were: Reva Mattingly, Myrtle Osborne, Jeanette Kohler, Alyce Schow, Alice Ward, Leah Smith, Delia Kirk and Mable Brad-field. Brad-field. M. G. Club Entertained Mrs. J. H. Weston entertained the M. G. club Wednesday evening, in honor of Mrs. Bert Hoagland of Salt Lake, an old member of the club. High score for points was won by Mrs. Spence Schow; honors by Mrs. H. F. Chanslor; consolation prize went to Mrs. Frank Calloway. Those present were: Mrs. James Patterson, Pat-terson, Mrs. D. E. Kirk, Mrs. Spence Schow, Mrs. Bert Hoagland, Mrs. G. C. Rodgers. Invited guests were y Letha Schow, Mtrs. K. Coon, Mrs. . Frank Farmer, Mrs. Frank Calloway L and Mrs. Will Frazier. Entertains At Dinner Mrs. W. S. Schow entertained at dinner at herhome Saturday evening for the following: Mr. and Mrs. Bert Hoagland, Mr. and Mrs. George Hem-street Hem-street of Salt Lake; Mr. and Mrs. Jack Thiessen of Milford. Entertained Mr. and Mrs. Alvin H. Baker entertained en-tertained the High 'School faculty and their partners last Thursday night at their home. The evening was spent in playing "500." Dave Heslington won high score prize and Mr. Hughes won con- solation prize. . ' I A dainty two-course lunch was served ser-ved at midnight to twelve guests. The color scheme and decorations were green and white for St. Patrick's Day. j Surprised on Birthday - """ Robert Killam was given a surprise birthday party at his home on Tuesday Tues-day evening. After attending the Orpheum Theatre, the guests were served a delicious luncheon. Those present were: George Davis, Ted Mc-Culley Mc-Culley .Wallace Moore, George Rodgers, Rod-gers, Lawrence Easton and Julian Tate. The Wearin' of the Green A very pleasant evening was spent at the South Milford Community club' house Saturday, March 17th, in honor of St. Patrick, who, as legend relates, made the Emerald Isle safe for the barefooted pedestrians. The entertainment committee con. listing of Miss Margaret Cates, chairman; chair-man; Miss Gladys Gospil and Mrs. Chas. 'Baxter, assisted by Mrs. Frank Gospil and Mrs. W. C. Cates, arranged arrang-ed a program of games and athletic stunts and divided the crowd into two opposing teams, one the West Side; the other, East Side . East Side wasn't so good possibly on account ac-count of the lack of salt, and the West Side won the prize which was an imitation im-itation Irish potato, made in Germany and filled with French dressing. Chas. Thomas, accompanied by Mrs. Parley Fisher at the Chickering, sang "If Your Wife Won't Get up in the Morning, What'll you Do?"
