This in itself, is a great thing and will help make the Legion eonvention what the department officers aim to make it. Two thousand dolTars will he used in providing entertainment for the I'tah Legionnaires who attend the eonvention aeeording to the hndget of the finanee committee. Besides this, the Auxiliary committees are spending a great deal for the entertainment enter-tainment of its convention visitors. A grand patrioMc street parade, a niagnlficienl lireworks display, three dances, including a carnival hall, a rifle meet, a picnic and 14 mile trip u i scenic Logan Canyon, a hand for the parade and high class music for the dances, rental of the eonvention halls, an dmany other items are some of the things that this money is going to buy for th entertainment and the pleasure of all I'tah Legionnaires nnl Auxiliary women who attend the convention. Charles II. Kcndriek, national vice president of the American Legion, will he in attendance at every session ses-sion of the convention. Mr. Kendrlek is a former department commander, of California, Is one of her most brilliant bril-liant lawyers. Practically all of I'tah State officials, offi-cials, including Governor Maboy, himself a strong Legionnaire, will he In attendance at the convention.
