Show ADDITIONAL LOCALS Mrs. J. C. White, of Beaver spent the afternoon in Milford, leaving on the evening thain for Salt Lake City, where she will visit for a short time. Miss Olive Johnson was very plea., antly surprised Tuesday evening at her home with a party given by her I friends. Nineteen guests were present, pres-ent, and a very pleasant evening was : spent with various games and delightful de-lightful refreshments were served. Does your yard need cleaning? A. Hillary. j Mrs. O. A. Steenbock left Sunday night for Salt Lake City to attend tha funeral of her nephew, Guy Shju-maker Shju-maker who was killedl Saturday in a mine accident at Park City. Mr. Show maker was the son of Fred Shoemaker, Shoemak-er, a former Milford resident. Mrs. Dave Tanner and daughter, Ethel, went to Nephi last Friday ti. visit relatives. They were accompanied accompan-ied by Aline Ellison of Nephi, who had been visiting here. Mrs. Tanner attended the M. I. A. convention in Salt Lake this week. Mrs. Tom Banning and children, of San Francisco, are visiting this week with her brothers, John andl Gene Pitchforth. On her return to San Francisco, Mrs. Banning will be accompanied by her sister. Miss Merle Mer-le Pitchforth. who will attend summer sum-mer school at Berkley. Aa.ong the travelers to Milford this week were: John O. Angel, of Salt Lake; F. .1. Trevarthen, Osblck, Cal., Geo. Fi'"d Cottrell, son of Air. and Mrs. W. F. Cottrell. who has been attending attend-ing Occidental college at. Los An-g"Ies An-g"Ies this year, will receive his B. a. degree from that institution Saturday. Satur-day. Fred is a graduate of the Milford Mil-ford high school and had three years in Westminster college in Salt LaKu City, before going to Occidental to complete his college course. He will return to Milford the first of the week |
