There is room for playgrounds play-grounds and tennis court. The building consists of two large rooms, one for each troop and a smaller room suitable for library and reading room. The owner of the place, Mr. LaMar La-Mar Outzen, has kindly offered the use of the building and lot to the Boy Scouts. Several donations' in the form o. books and magazines already have been made to the Boy Scout library. Jt-ffcrson Mercantile company has Kindly loaned us window space which has been decorated to help explain scouting. In the near future we are planning a program and entertainment, entertain-ment, the object of which, is to explain ex-plain scouting to the parents, because be-cause scouting is not a problem of boys, but of men. Scouting takes the boy off the street and out of the pool hall and fills his mind with useful and constructive ideas. Already scouts may be seen around town seeking opportunities to work for money to register and bup their uniforms and equipment. Please do your bit by giving them a job anu respecting them in' their efforts. The committee urges you to talk scouting think scouting, visit the scout home, encourage scout workers who are jf y .v r : - M i ?
