Show LIONS HOLD NOONDAY NOON-DAY LUNCHEON AT THE HOTEL ATK1N The Lion's met Wednesday 11001,. at the Hotel Atkin, where they held their regular noon-d&y luncheon. President Sam Cllne presided. There was an unusually large attendance, several visitors helping to increase 1 the number. I A committee from the Union Paci-j fjc Athletic association was present and asked the Lions club to assist' them in putting on a big Fourth oil' July celebration. President Cline ap-i pointed Dr. Parrish and W. F. Miller Mil-ler as comimtteemen to assist and cooperate with the athletic associa-' tion on behalf of the Lions. The matter of selecting a list o. nominees for club officers for tnu coming year, was brought up and o list of names, which hadl been pre ! pared was read. j The election will be held nexc Wednesday evening at the Milford Realty company offices. . |
