Show FUNERAL OF BANKER IS LARGELY ATTENDED Funeral bervices for John F. Jones, banker, who died suddenly Monday at his home in Beaver of heart, failure, fail-ure, were held' in the stake tabernacle taber-nacle Wednesday afternoon at two o'clock. The funeral was directed by Bishop George Paice. The speakers were Frank Harris, O. A. Mtirdoek. and Fred T. Gunn. The music was furnished' by Mrs. Lena Beck McGar-ry. McGar-ry. assisted by Mrs. Fletcher Barton. Kent Morgan and R. H. Barton. Prof Lynghe of Murdock academy gave several selections on the violin. The invocation was offered by Charles D. White and the benediction by Geo. A. Parkinson. There was a profusion of beautiful flowers. There was a large cortege. Interment was in !he Mountain View cemetery. Patriarch Watkin Reese dedicated the grave. Mr. Jones was born at Goshen. July Ju-ly 23, 1858, but had spent most of his life in this county. He conducted conduct-ed a store in Adamsville for several years and then moved to a farm in Minersville canyon, where he resided for several years. In 1900 he moved mov-ed to Beaver and built the Beaver hotel, of which he was the proprietor for several years, but which he sold later to engage in farming. In 1S82 he was married to Mrs. Al-theda Al-theda En n is, who died June 1 1. 1 9 2 0. Last July he was married to Mrs. Serena Se-rena Spafford of Richfield, by whom he is survived. He also is survived by the following children, all of whom were present at the funeral: Mrs. R. B. Cutler, of Adamsville; Mrs. W. B. Fennemore. of Kanosh; I W. E. Jones, of Milford; Mrs. R. H. Barton of Salt Lake; J. W. Jones of Montpellier, Idaho: Miss Celia Jones of Biackfoot. Idaho; Mrs. Lottie Pearee and Mrs. Edgar H. White of i Beav-r. He also is survived by a lister. lis-ter.
