Show APPEAL TAKEN' IN" SHERIFF CONTEST The sheriff contest case of Skewes Vs. Bliss, in which a decision was last week rendered by Judge H. N. Hayes in favor of Mr. Skewes, has been appealed to the supreme court of Utah. The appeal was filed yesterday yester-day by Attorney J. W. Cherry, attorney at-torney for Mr. Bliss. It is understood that an effort will be made to have the appeal heard at the February term of the supreme court. Election contest cases are usually given precedence on the supreme court canlendar, and for this reason it is thought that the action will be heard at the earliest possible time. |
