Show UTAH TRANSPORTATION COMPANY IS ROBRED The crime wave which is sweeping sweep-ing over the country, reached Milford Mil-ford Monday night. The office of the Utah Transportation company was entered sometime durng the nght and the safe opened and everything ev-erything of value taken. Including about $150 cash and all the checks bonds and deeds it contained. What the robber expects to do with the deeds and cheeks is a mystery. Entrance was effected by breaking break-ing the glass in the door to the shop and reaching in and turning the lock To enter the office from the shop, the burglar attempted to cut the wood away from the lock but gave that up and took the moulding out which holds the big glass in place and carefully set the glass down by the wall and entered that way. He then borrowed a quilt from the Parowan Par-owan stage, with which to make a cover under or behnd which he work ed at the combination lock, which he succeeded in opening. He left no clue with which the officers can work excepting a card on the floor and a cotton handkerchief, but they do not furnish much of a scent to follow. |
