Show WOOL POOL Twenty-seven thousand pounds of wool were pooled and shipped to the National Wool Warehouse and Storage Stor-age company during August, belonging belong-ing to fifty-one different farmers. The wool was assigned to the farm bureau wool committee, who negotiated a loan on same of 22 1-2 cents per pound, or an average of one hundred twenty dollars for each of the cooperators. The individual lots varied from twelve pounds to three hundred pounds, making a total to-tal of 6,332.00 that were distributed distribu-ted among growers, which shoulclbe very much appreciated during this time of tight money. |
