Show HOME STUDY SUCCESSFUL The plan of directed home study adopted by the high school and outlined out-lined in last week's issue of the News, has now given ample evidences eviden-ces of its value as a substitute for regular school work. A majority of the students are reporting for consultation with the faculty members and are giving evidence evi-dence of consistent study. Others, who because of quarantine tnd other oth-er causes, having been unable to report re-port In person. 'have been furnished the regular outlines in the respective respec-tive subjects and are proceeding with the work. These students will report by mail or otherwise. We solicit the co-operation of thi parents in getting the students to conform to a regular schedule of study hours, since experience has shown that to get efficiency in this kind of work, systematic study If necessary. We advise that student? study a minimum of five hours per day. For example, from a m to 10 a. m.; from 3 p. m. tn 5 p. m.: from 7:30 p. m. to 9:30 p. m.. fiv days each week. This schedule err: be adopted and will previa,-- suT!-cient suT!-cient time for other duties. Evening Even-ing study alone, in most case?, will not be sufficient to accomplish this work. |
