Show W. S. S. BEET SHIPMENTS Mr. Forest of the Delta Sugar Factory, brought in four of the finest sugar beets that eye ever looked upon They were grown on the land owned by D. R. McKnight of Minersville, and are on display at the office of C. E. Cline. Anyone interested may have the pleasure ', of seeing what the soil in this local- j ity will do. These beets have a higc j sugar content and are of general j fine fine quality from top to tap root. The first carload of beets from this neighborhood was shipped from Milford last Monday to the Delta Sugar Factory at Delta. There will be others of the same high quality to follow. The results have been very satisfactory, and of- cuch .-'' j couraging nature in every respect 'that a much greater acreage will be ! set to the crop next season, i One thing is certain. The crop is inviting such interest from the - ranchers of this valley that we may l soon be able to secure a sugar fac-t fac-t tory for Milford, an industrial r - set that none of us can afford to ignore. |
