Show MOSCOW CLOSES DOWN ACCOUNT LOW PRICES Manager G. S. Wilkin of the Moscow Mos-cow of Beaver county said last evening even-ing that the statement in a southern Utah journal that the Beaver Combination Combi-nation had brought suit against the . Moscow for extraction of ores from I beyond its side lines is erroneous. He said that the facts are that the Combination people Woke into the Moscow ground on the 400 level at a point several hundred feet beyond their lines. The Combination work at this particular point was stopped by the Moscow. It is said that the Beaver Combination has made overtures over-tures to consolidate with the Moscow Mos-cow mine. This does not seem to appeal ap-peal to the Moscow people. It is .not impossible that the case may be taken ta-ken into court to establish the exact location of the division line. Neither the Moscow nor the Com bination is operating at present. The low price of lead and untoward conditions con-ditions generally caused the Moscow to shut down temporarily. It had about 300 tons of ore on hand at the time, but has shipped part of it, leaving leav-ing 150 to 200 tons now at the mine. Herald-Republican. |
