Show 1 Ol'RTH-( 'LASS POSTMASTER POST-MASTER EXAMINATION The United States Civil Service Commission has announced an examination ex-amination to be held at Milford, Utah, on December 8, 1917, as a result re-sult of which it is expected to make certification to fill a contemplated vacancy in the position of fourth-class fourth-class postmaster at Newhouse, Utah, and other vacancies as they may occur oc-cur at that office, unless, it shall be decided in the interests of the service ser-vice to fill the vacancy by reinstatement. reinstate-ment. The compensation of the postmaster at this office was $256. for the last fiscal year. Applicants must have reached their twenty-first birthday on the date of the examination, with the exception that in a State- where women are declared by statute to be of full age for all purposes at eighteen eigh-teen years, women eighteen years of age on the date of the examination will be admitted. Applicants must reside within the territory supplied by the post office! for which the examination is an-1 nounced.. ( The examination is open to all cit-l izens of the United States who can ! comply with the requirements.
