Engine 3412 was sent to Las Vegas Ve-gas to have her frame welded. Chas. Neuhart has resigned his position po-sition as inspector to go on the road again. E. E. Shirley, night inspector, made a hurried trip to Salt Lake on business. Our friend Mike Lichty was a visitor vis-itor in Milford Thursday. Mike says that he used to know us when we didn't have money. The heavy fog Thursday morning reminded one of Los Angeles. Back to your home town, you old fog; we need you not in Milford. Frank H. Adams, former general agent of the L. A. & S. L., passed through Milford this week enroute to Los Angeles. Frank is sort of a traveling passenger agent at this time since his office was abolished in Los Angeles. N.o 1 was delayed considerably Thursday night between Salt Lake and Milford on account of engine 3507 not steaming. Engineer Waddingham is taking the place of Engineer Garrity for a few trips. Conductor Berkhimer and crew went east with the 3609 caboose bounce Thursday evening. The beanery is working the endless end-less chain system with their help they are coming and going continuously. |
