Show STRAIGHT TALK IF the United States, France, England, Eng-land, Russia, Italy, Serbia, Rou-mania, Rou-mania, Portugal, and all' other 'allied countries who are fighting Germany really believe Germany started the war and is the cause of all the miseries this war has brought' upon them, why don't they go after Germany in a far stronger strong-er way than they are doing at the present pres-ent time? If they are sincere enough to send millions of their best men to be shot down by Germany, if they actually believe that Germany has committed all the awful acts of barbarism, if they know that Germany has outraged every civilized law, why do they go at her so peacefully? Why do they not. pay her back in her own coin? Why do they not give her an eye for an eye, and a tooth for a tooth? When Germany sends an air raid over London or Paris, why do the allies not send several air raids over Germany Ger-many as a receipt for Her work? When Germany murders a war prisoner, why do the allies not murder two ? For every ev-ery barbarous act that Germany does, . pay her back double. That would soon put an end to that sort of business. It would let Germany know the allies at . least meant business. If the allies wish to make ; Germany suffer for her ruthless submarine piracy, pir-acy, why do they not send some barges loaded with tons of explosives up the Kiel Canal? Should they strike. a mine this would set off the explosives aboard the barges and this explosion would set off every other mine within a mile of it. If they did not strike a mine and the Germans fired upon the barges, the effect ef-fect would be the same. Should the Germans Ger-mans not fire upon the barges, the allies' al-lies' battleships could do it with the same results. This would show Germany Ger-many that she was to be repaid for her acts. Also, if it can be proven that Germany Ger-many is supplying the I. W. W.. with funds just to create riots in our country, coun-try, why not get a few of the leaders-and leaders-and make their executions so promin-. promin-. ent that the I. W. W. will realize what they are up against when they start something in this country? The same would hold good with this newly discovered dis-covered courtplaster plot. Just catch a few of them and hang them publicly. This would show the plotters that we were tired of fooling with- them any longer. Go after them with ,the determination deter-mination that we have stood -all of their treachery we are going to stand,' and ' from now on they will be made to pay dearly for each and every one of their underhanded acts. Then again if money is not to be placed over the lives of our young men, let the allies tell to Germany in a way that she will understand it, that for every month she continues this needless war that she will be made to suffer one whole year in return. For every month that she continues the allies will refuse to allow one of her ships to enter their ports for one whole year. That the allies al-lies will not allow one of the German people to enter their, domains, neither will they allow any of their people to enter Germany. That the allies will not trade with Germans, nor recognize' them in any manner, in fact, the allies will cut them off from the civilized world one year for every month that they carry on this war. Ostracize them literally from the world. Show them what their punishment will be even long after they get tired of fighting. When they realize they are to be cut off from civilization they will begin to do some serious thinking. ' If this war is not being fought with the idea of future money after the war is over, then give Germany to understand under-stand that the longer she fights against the world's freedom the worse it is going go-ing to be for her. She will then take a glance into the future and start to take inventory. It will do more toward ending end-ing the war than all the trenches both sides can dig.
