Allison came here j from Etireka after lour years there. He has been in Utah sine.' IS'jI. Few people know that Mr. Allison was s contractor and builder before he became be-came a minister. He served h;s apprenticeship ap-prenticeship in England. Rev. and Mrs. Allison will leave the first of the week for Elberta. where he will speak Tuesday night. They will then proceed in their Ford to Salt Lake City to attend conference. Mrs. Allison will take the eight-day course of lectures and Bible study for Christian workers there. llishop Francis J. McConnell will preside at the annual conference. It has not been determined who will succeed Rev. Allison here. The appointment will be made at conference. The retiring re-tiring pastor and his wife and little son leave a great many warm friends in Milford who will wish them well wherever they may labor in the future fu-ture years. |
