Show POWER LINE TO 1!E BUILT Mr. Sloan, acting president of the Commercial club, is in re ?ipt of a letter from B. H. Waters, superintendent superin-tendent of the Telluride Power company, com-pany, in which Mr. Waters gives Mr Sloan assurance that the power line south west of town will be built as soon as those who expect to use pow er next season will cpme in and sign up power contracts. This signing sign-ing up of contracts is necessary in order that the power' company can better tell where to locate their lines, so as to serve the most consumers at the least expense. Mr. Waters has made a thorough investigation of the pumping proposition propo-sition in the territory to be served, and evidently has come to the conclusion con-clusion that his company can afford to build in advance of the development. develop-ment. This is indeed good news to all Milford, and especially to those who have holdings in the water belt, as it means the start of a period of prosperity which will be of great value val-ue to the town and surrounding conn try. |
