Show LEGAL NOTICE OF .BOND ELECTION LEGAL NOTICE OF BOND "ELECTION" "ELEC-TION" TO BE HELD IN EACH PRECINCT OF THE COUNTY OF BEAVER, STATE OF UTAH, ON FRIDAY, THE 23rd DAY OF NOVEMBER, NO-VEMBER, 1917. STATE OF UTAH, County of Beaver, ss. Public Notice is Hereby Given according to law that at the bond election hereby called to he held in each precinct of Beaver county, Utah, on Friday, to-wit: The 23rd day of November, A. D. 1917, between the hours of 7 o'clock a. m. and 7 oclock p. m., and at the several polling places thereinafter named, there will be submitted to the duly qualified quali-fied voters of said precinct and county, the question following for their vote and determination thereat, to-wit: "Shall the board of countv 'commissioners of Beaver county, Utah, for the purpose of raising money for general county purposes, pur-poses, be empowered to issue, negotiate, and sell the bonds of said Beaver county, to an amount aggregating the principal princi-pal sum of Sixty Thousand ($60,000) Dollars, said bonds all to run for a period of twenty (20) years, and to fall due and become payable twenty (20) years after their date, bearing interest from their' date until paid at the rate of five (5) per cent per annum, payable semiannually?" semi-annually?" The vote shall be by ballot, which will contain the question hereinafter submitted and in addition ad-dition Bonds Yes and Bonds No; and each voter voting in favor of the bonds shall place a cross (X) in the blank space to the right of the group of words "Bonds Yes;" and those voting no, or against the bonds, shall place a cross (X) in the blank space to the right' of the group of words "Bonds No;" and thereby indicate indi-cate his vote upon the question submitted. The polls for the reception of the ballots cast upon said question ques-tion will, on said day and date, and at the - several hereinafter named polling places in each of the precincts of- said Beaver county, Utah, be opened at the hour of 7 o'clock a. m., and re- ' main open until 7 o'clock p. m. of the same day, when they shall be closed. The polling places for and the names of the judges who shall thereat conduct, the said election elec-tion in each of the precincts of said Beaver county, Utah, are as follows, namely: Beaver Precinct No. 1 Assembly Hall, Beaver; W. H. Farnsworth, D. I. Frazer, Geo. B. Skinner. Beaver Precinct No. 2 Park Hall, Beaver; George Munford, S. O. White, D. D. Harris. Beaver Precinct No. 3 County Court House; E. E. Cowdell, Joseph Ash, F. O. Will-den. Will-den. Greenville Precinct L. D. S.' Church, Greenville; William Edwards, Mary Ann Miller, Mariah Barton. Adamsville Precinct Annie McCauley's House, Adamsville; Ad-amsville; Kate Joseph, Annie McCauley, Willard Reese. Minersville Precinct Wood's Hall, Minersville; John E. Eyre, Tus Gillins, Rhoda Schwab. Milford, Star Precinct No. 1 Opera House. Milford; Luddy McCar.rel, A. M. Stoddard, Mrs. D. D. James. Grampian Precinct J. L. Griffiths' House, Frisco; E. R. Only the voters possessing the following qualifications will be allowed to vote at said election and no others: "Every qualified voter residing resid-ing in any precinct in the said Beaver county, "Utah, in which olainri it, licll' fur- tia TuiPtinoQ of determining the question of issuing bonds for such Beaver county, and who shall have paid a property tax therein in the year preceding such election, shall be qualified to vote at any such election." (Compiled laws of Utah. 1907, Section 518, and as amended by Session Laws, j 1917, Chapter 97.) 1 If a majority of those voting j thereon shall have voted in favor j of incurring such indebtedness, and not otherwise, the board may proceed to issue and sell the amount of bonds specified, which bonds may be in registered regis-tered or coupon form, and the board shall levy the tax necessary neces-sary to pay the interest and to create a sinking fund for the payment of the said bonds in each and every year after their issue, until the indebtedness is finally paid. The revenue derived de-rived from the sale of said bonds shall be applied to the purposes specified in this order and none j other. i This bond issue of $60,000 will be within the debt limit of Bea- j ver county as fixed by the constitution con-stitution and laws of the state j of Utah.
