Show NOTICE TO THE PUBLIC On and after Thursday, November 1st, the admission price to the Utah Theatre will be adults 20 cents, and children 10c. The reason for this is the War Tax placed upon all theatres in the United States by the Government. Govern-ment. The law covering motion picture pic-ture theatres is that ONE CENT shall be paid in each 10 cent admission ticket Bold. Two cents on each 15-cent 15-cent or 20-cent ticket sold. In addition addi-tion to the tax on admissions, an extra ex-tra tax has been placed on all reels in active service each day, that will average a little over one cent on each admission. Our first plan was to place an extra ex-tra charge of one cent on the ten-cent ten-cent tickets and three cents oi the fifteen-cent tickets. Four cents will not cover the extra tax, besides the bother of making penny change so we have decided not to make an extra ex-tra charge on the children or ten-cent ten-cent tickets, but to make a five-cent increase on adult tickets, which will jus about even up our extra expense. ex-pense. We are sorry to have to make this extra charge for admission, but the Government figures that amusements are luxuries and that they should , have to help carry the burden of the war. We hope to enjoy the same good patronage the good people of Milford have given our Theatre and we want to assure you that it Bhall always be our aim in the future as in the past to give you the very beBt pictures the market affords. Thanking you we beg to remain, Yours very truly, H. A. SIMS. |
