Show BEAVER NOTES Roland Nowers left last Tuesday for Salt Lake to enter the U. of U. upon his course of vocational training. train-ing. Rev. Royden Zook and wife and little son Paul took dinner Friday of last week with Dr. and Mrs. D. W. Gibson. Mrs. Van Hickman of Milford is visiting her mother, Mrs. Hattie Ash-worth Ash-worth a few days. Mrs. James Clay spent a few hours In Beaver Saturday of last week. Mr. and Mrs. Enoch Burton motored mo-tored to Parowan Saturday, returning return-ing Sunday evening. A surprise party was given Mlsa Lettie Jensen at the home of her par ! ents, Mr. and Mrs. Nell Jensen on ! Tuesday evening by a number of her young friends. The evening was spent with games and dancing. Light refreshments were served. Those who were present to enjoy the evening even-ing were: Dorothy Tanner, Bertha Bohn, Norma Jensen, Lettie Jensen, Wallace Murdock. Russell Gentry, Elden McGregor, Emel Nowers Max Boyle. Mrs. Mame Dunshee entertained at a party Tuesday afternoon at the home of her mother. Mrs. Alice Lindsay, Lin-dsay, in honor of her little son's 6th birthday anniversary. A fine birthday birth-day cake with 6 shining candles adorned the dining table. Twenty little guests were present for the occasion. oc-casion.
