Show AGGY MEN AREHONORED Medals are Presented for Athletic Prowws on Track and Field Cedar City, January 29. In Tuesday's Tues-day's chapel a vocal solo was given by Mr. Knudson and prayer offered ly Wtlford Griffin. Flossie Gardner and Stanley Dalley played a violin duet and Belle Jones gave a reading. Mr. Homer presented medals to our track heroes who won places in the state track meet last spring. The University of Utah awarded medals to the following boya: Walter Hanson, who took first place in the discus throw. Adam Segmeller, first in the half mile. Loreon Bhurtz, Becond in 220 yard hurdleB. Leonard Bowen, second in quarter mile. Clyde Bunker, third in the pole vault. Friday night the Juniors entertained enter-tained the Seniors and College Freshmen. Fresh-men. Refreshments were served and all report having had a good time. Thanks to old "Father Time," the semester exams are now over and the students are resuming their regular regu-lar classes. After they were over on Friday afternoon a matinee dance was given in the auditorium, celebrating cele-brating the end of the exams. Watch for the next "Student." It will be published by the Ag. and H. C. clubs and they promise something good. Because of the Btorms we have had during the past two weeks, the basket bas-ket ball schedule has been changed. It is reported that a Kanab High school team will be here on January 31, and Dixie on February 2. Don't forget the "Round-Up," February 7 to 14. RULON KNELL. |
