Show ALL SHOULD GO TO SCHOOL On Monday, Sept. 23rd, the entire teaching corps for the county will assemble as-semble in Beaver for an afternoon of preparatory instructions before dispersing dis-persing throughout the county to each village and hamlet for the season's sea-son's labors. The assembling of this choice group has been a somewhat strenuous strenu-ous task. Few of those who signed for work in the county have remained remain-ed with us throughout the summer. Last April every place was filled, then unrest because of a teacher shortage set in and mail and wire were burdened with resignations. We finally emerged from the storm with forty-eight gallant soldiers out of seventy enlistments. But two positions posi-tions in the county remain unfilled. These places require male teachers, and all teachers' employment bureaus bu-reaus assure us that the recent draft extension has completely used up the reserve. We are still hopeful of finding find-ing manual training and gymnasium teachers for these important places. We wish to extend a hearty welcome wel-come to the teachers to our county and promise them support in their serious task. On Tuesday morning every teacher will be at her post with that familiar pedagogical smile ready to greet the boys and girls and enroll them for the winter's work. Come, boys and girls. Polish your shoes, wash your hands and face, comb the hair and look happy. At 9 o'clock, Tuesday, Sept. 24, be at school. Start right, do right, end right. We welcome you all.
