Show Smashing the Barriers with the Red Glove tomorrow night only, Nov. 20. Remember the date. Miss Ruby Hales, Ethel Parkinson Parkin-son and Ida Burt of Beaver, were Milford -visitors Friday. Vern Bird is in town greeting his friends and delivering groceries for Jefferson's customers. A. O. Hardy, of Minersville spent Tuesday in Milford with his mother moth-er and sister. Mrs. Isaac Ferguson left Tuesday night to make her home in Long Beach, California. Mr. and Mrs. A. C. Clark entertained enter-tained Floyd and Clyde Casterline at dinner Monday evening. Tom Himstreet has returned from Nephi and is again working on the railroad here. Mr. Star who has been the barber at the Gem pool hall has gone to California Cal-ifornia for the winter. Mrs. Jos. Eyre of Minersville was here Sunday to spend the day with her daughters. Misses Mildred and Syble Eyre. J. H. Berg of the Montreal was called to Salt Lake last week on business bus-iness also on account of the illness of his small son. Word comes from Salt Lake that Miss Elsie Shepherfl, daughter ofl Dr. S.hepherd. recently of Beaver, died in Salt Lake Thursday. Mr. Clyde who has been local manager man-ager for the Mountain States Telephone Tele-phone company has been transferred transfer-red to another position and is leaving leav-ing here today. He and N. C. Thompson Thom-pson have been in town for a few j days checking up the exchange. i |
