Show Mr. Moffat of the Majestic Mining company has been in town this week on business. Mrs. Berkheimer expects to join her husband in Salt Lake in a f3w tfays. Mrs. John Mess has gone to Delta for a short stay. She expects to return re-turn at the end of the week. Richard Thomas and family of Greenville, were in. town Tuesday night on their way to visit friends and relatives in Idaho. Henry Gillins Sr. of Minersville, father of Henry and Fred Gillins. of Milford. died in Minersville of pneumonia Tuesday morning. Word comes from Long Beach of the marriage, recently, of Miss Bes sie Earl and Mr. Robert Squires, both formerly of Milford. The couple cou-ple have gone to Imperial Valley to make their home. The report also says that Jack Earll is to be married in Long Beach on Saturday November Novem-ber 22. After vigorous efforts the school has succeeded in getting an order in for about fifty steel lockers. The board of education has advanced the money for the lockers under the condition con-dition that the students using them shall pay $1.00 per year for the use of them. This money is to be turned turn-ed back to the board of education until the lockers are paid for. |
