Show l-'iish Winn of Vernal, spent sev- ! eral days last week with Mrs. J. Moore and her son. Wilson. They v ere old friends at Vernal and It had been some eighteen years since they had seen Mr. Winn and were very glad to have him come and make them a visit. He also visited Mr. and Mrs. Joe Tribole while here. Mrs. P. J. Adams and daughter Fern have returned from Los Angeles, Angel-es, California where they have been spending some littl3 time sight-seeing, and taking a good rest. They visited a number of places of Interest Inter-est among them was a trip to Cata-lina Cata-lina Islands. j A happy reunion took place in ; our city on Monday evening, when Mr. Clifton McShane. arrived from overseas service on the 7:50 train and was met by his father O. F. Mc-' Shane, his wife, his brother and his father-in-law, Mr. Fred Gunn. Mr. and Mrs. Heber Wood expect to leave soon for Heber City, Utah, where they will make their home. Mrs. Wood is president of the young ladies mutual of the L. D. S. church, , and will be missed very much. We ! wish them success and prosperity in their new home. ' Wilbur R. Killam of Great Falls '. Montana, was visiting his brother, J. S. Killam a few days last week. He .was returning from California when he had been visiting their sister, Mrs. Wood of Tulare, Cal. Mr. Killam is interested in the automobile business, busi-ness, and may return to Milford in the near future. i j Complimentary to Mrs. Isaacs, Mrs j Berkheimer entertained with a de- licious luncheon, followed by a thea-j thea-j tre party at the Utah theatre last 1 Wednesday evening. Other guests were: Mesdames Blunt, Boyter Stoy ell. Glenn. Jefferson, Wheat, Stirling Gleeson and the Misses Malstorm and Elkins. Mrs. C. T. Woodbury delightfully ! entertained the O. A. O. club Friday Fri-day afternoon at her home. A de-j de-j licious luncheon was served, the ta-I ta-I ble being covered with a cluny lace cloth over yellow and decorated with 1 spring flowers. The guest of the afternoon was Mrs. E. Winnett of i Los Angeles. The club will be en-i en-i tertained by Mrs. J. A. McCormlck I next Thursday afternoon at her ; home at the Creole Mine. , A very delightful party was held i at the home of Dan Ferguson Mon-'day Mon-'day evening March 24th. Music and ! singing were indulged in until quite a late hour, when refreshments were j served. It goes without saying that ; a very enjoyable time was had. j Those present were: Dan Ferguson, : Geo.
