Show NOVELTY BIRTHDAY PARTY Mrs. C. C. Sloan entertained with a unique party in honor of her little lit-tle daughter, Frances Ann's 13th birthday, Friday evening from 7 to 10 o'clock. Games were indulged in until luncheon time when each child was presented with a purse, containing some money and they were then escorted to the dining room where a miniature com fair was in progress. Think of "Hot Dogs" two for a nickel,- nice cold lemonade 5c a glass, ice cream cones 5c greeted the surprised crowd. The room was prettily decorated in pink and green and a latge Birthdav cake with 18 candles we on the table, ta-ble, which was prettily decorated with a cluny lace cloth over green. A miniature fishing pond was in one corner and each child took tueir turn with hook and line each girl receiving a silver afferdinner coffee spoon with Frances Ann's Initials engraved on it and "each boy a neat little pocket comb 1m a case. |
