Show CHRISTI ANSCIENCF, The Christian Science Lesson-Sermon Lesson-Sermon for Sunday, April 6. Subject: Sub-ject: Unreality. Among the Scriptural references refer-ences are: "And God spake all these words, saying, Thou shalt have no other gods before me." (Ex. 20: 1, 3). "And there sat in a window a certain young man named Eutyehus, being fallen into a deep sleep; and as Paul was long .preaching, he sunk down .with sleep, and fell down the third i loft, and was taken up dead. And Paul went down and fell on him. and embracing him said. Trouble not yourselves, for his life is in him. And they brought the youno man alive, and were not a little comforted". (Acts 20: 0, 10, 12). The following excerjfts are taken from Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures, by Mary Baker Eddy: "The life of tnan is Mind. The material body manifests only what mortal mind leli- ves. whether it be a broken bone, disease, or sin. Your thought is more powerful than your words, more powerful than the accident ac-cident itself, to make the injury rial. You render the divine law of healing obscure and void, when you weigh the human in the scale with the divine, or limit in any direction of thought the omnipresence omnipre-sence .and omnipotence of God." (P.. 402: 17, IS; 307: 14-16; 445: 15-1S). M |
