Show Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Rickerson left Tuesday for a month's vacation vaca-tion at St. Joseph, Mo., where they will visit Mr. Rickerson's sister, Mrs. Louise Baker, and a brother, Mr. Robert Rickerson. Mr. Frank Stewart and Mr. Stanley McKnight of Minesville were in Provo last Saturday, enjoying en-joying the races. WILL REMODEL or repair 2- or 3-bedroom home for chance to rent it. See P. M. Snowball. Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Rickerson returned on Sunday from a trip to Caliente, where they visited Mr. and Mrs. Bill Fingeton, Mr. and Mrs. Oscar Stevenson and Mr. and Mrs. Dave Williams. Dr. W. Fred Cottrell, graduate of the Milford High school, class of 1920, was the commencement speaker at Westminster College, Salt Lake City, last week. Dr. and Mrs. Cottrell and their children, chil-dren, Bill, Bob and Colleen, are visiting vis-iting Mrs. Cottrell's relatives in Southern California, and expect to visit in Milford about the first of July, spend some time with Dr. Cottrell's Cot-trell's brother, Roy Cottrell, and sister, Mrs. Frank Tribole. Mrs. Janie Moore, who has been visiting her sons, George Moore and Joseph Tribole, left Saturday to spend the summer with her daughter, Mrs. Katie Snyder, at Woods Cross. Mrs. Joseph Tribole went to Salt Lake Sunday to meet her brother, Fred Cottrell, and family, and sister, sis-ter, Mrs. Lee Gray of Provo. She accompanied Mrs. Gray home where she is visiting a few days with her mother, Mrs. W. F. Cottrell. Cot-trell. Robert and Jo Anne Angell left on Friday of last week to spend two weeks visiting their sisters. Mrs. J. B. Miller and Mrs. Richard Johnson, of Salt Lake City, and be with their father, Mr. S. J. Angell, who recently underwent an appendectomy appen-dectomy at a Salt Lake hospital. Mr. and Mrs. M. (E. Hickman and son Morris of Coulee Dam, Wash., are visiting with Mr. and Mrs. D. N. Hickman and other relatives rel-atives and friends. Mrs. J. C. Angell of Tintic, is visiting her brother and sister-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. J. B. Miller, and Mr. and Mrs. R. C. Johnson. Mrs. Martha Stephens of Logan is visiting at the home of her son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. J. M. Hughes. Mrs. Stephens will be in Milford for a week or ten days. Mrs. Stanley Hughes and son Dale are visiting at the home of Mr. and Mrs. J. M. Hughes while her husband, Lt. Stanley Hughes, is in Alaska on a month's tour of duty. Miss Genevieve Parkinson returned re-turned on Thursday of last week from Provo, where she has just completed her junior year at the Brigham Young university. Mr. and Mrs. Walter Klich have returned to Milford after a two-week two-week vacation in Missouri and Nebraska. In Kansas City they visited a sister of Mrs. Klich, Mrs. A. B. Bruce, and in Omaha they enjoyed a visit with Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Klich and brother and sister. sis-ter. Miss Maxine Bruce of Kansas Kan-sas City returned to spend the summer in Milford with the Klichs. Mr. and Mrs. O. A. Steenbock left on Tuesday, to be gone for the rest of the week attending to business bus-iness in Salt Lake City. Mr. and Mrs. Alan Fjeld and son Jeff spent the past 10 days visiting Mr. Fjeld's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Fjeld of Lehi. Mr. and Mrs. Fred White and granddaughter, Penny Lee, of Salt Lake City, visited in Milford this week at the homes of Mr. and Mrs. D. M. Edwards and Roy White. Accompanying them from Los Angeles, en route to Salt Lake City, was their daughter, Alice White. Frca was a Milford resident resi-dent about 20 years ago. Mr. and Mrs. O. R. Holbrook of Salt Lake City have been visiting the home of their son and daughter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. D. C. Holbrook. They also visited other friends here before leaving on Tuesday for a trip through the Utah Parks en route to Los Angeles. |
