Show SOUTH MILFORD R F D PATRONS MUST SIGN UP Residents of the South Milford farming area who wish to be served by a rural free delivery route are requested to call at The News office at their earliest opportunity to sign an official petition for the service. Several weeks ago petitions were circulated and signed, after which they were forwarded to Senator Sen-ator Abe Murdock, who turned them over to the post office department depart-ment along with a personal request that the establishment of the South Milford route be given favorable consideration. The official petitions peti-tions have arrived from Washington, Washing-ton, and will be returned along with maps and other data as soon as, they are signed. Oral W. Evans, Heaver county Democratic chairman, talked with Congressman Walter K. Granger, during the state convention con-vention in Salt Lake City, re -garding the proposed route, and the First district congressman advised Mr. Evans that "If that's what the people of South Milford Mil-ford want, I see no reason why they can't have such service in a very short time.
