Mrs. Hattie Ashworth of Bea-er Bea-er ia visiting- at the home of her son, William Ashworth, and family. Mrs. Lloyd Lee entertained members of the Big Four Bridge club" at her home Wednesday of last week. Those enjoying the evening were Mrs. George Moore, Mrs. Hr.Try Garfield, Mrs. Ronald Banlcs, Mrs. Fay Bradfield, Mrs. Vern Shingleton, Mrs. J. E. Moore and Mrs. Robert Price. Members of the Thursday Afternoon After-noon Sewing club met with Mrs. J. F. Tribole October 30. Those present were Mrs. Gene Pitch-forth, Pitch-forth, Mrs. William Baker, Mrs. D. N. Hickman, Mrs. Dick Jones and Mrs. Nolan Openshaw. Miss Cherie Ashworth enter-tinned enter-tinned , at a Hallowe'en party Saturday evening at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. William Ashworth. Guests at the party were: Jewell Waddingham, Jenei! Tanner, Lois Atkin, Berniece and Marion Bradfield, Bonnie and Ar-leon Ar-leon Baxter, Luann Feller, Anna McCulley, Garry . Ferguson, Earl Horton, Larry Bradfield and Monty Ashworth. Mrs. David S. Williams entertained enter-tained members of her bridge club Wednesday evening with Mrs. Sa'm Cline winning the high points prize and Mrs. George Moore the high honors prize, while Mrs. J. H. Weston received the consolation consola-tion prize. Others present were Mrs. J. R. Murdock jr., Mrs. Gene Kirk, Mrs. E. L. Smith and Mrs. Myron Lewis. Mr. and Mrs. Owen W. Stoker were greeting old friends in Mil-, Mil-, ford and relatives in Adamsville j this week, having come up for the pheasant hunt from their home in Santa' Monica, California. While here they joined Dr. and Mrs. L. , F. Kohler and Mr. and1 Mrs. Roy j Firmage in a hunting trip to ! Richfield. Mr. and Mrs. Stoker and the former's brother, Wayne, are all engaged in defense work in the vicinity of Santa Monica, while Mrs. Maiud Stoker, the boys' mother, who recently moved' there from Milford, is kept haippily occupied, oc-cupied, taking care of the children. How Limb, son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Limb, returned home this week after an absence of some four and a half years, the past 18 I months of which he has spent in-Hawaii, in-Hawaii, as related in recent items j in The News.
