This day was to be known as High School day. The G. I. A. ladies had given a party at the home of Mr. and Mrs. W. F. Stirling, in honor of Mr. and Mrs. Foster Dewey, who were leaving for Caliente to make their home. Those present were Mr. and Mrs, Grover Cuddy, Mr. and Mrs. William Dawson, Mr. and Mrs. John Hanlon, Mrs. J. C. Jeffers, Mrs. Jack Langenbacker, Mr. and Mrs. Lindsay Wadding-ham, Wadding-ham, Mrs. W. G. White and Mrs. MrS'. W. G. White and Mrs. O. A. O. A. Steenfoock. Miss Dorothy Murdock, daugh-! daugh-! ter of Mr. and Mrs. J. R. Mur- dock, was one of two students at j Westminster college in Salt -Lake I City wVio had been chosen as semi-j semi-j final winners in the college beauty contest. The Allen grocery store was to open its doors for business on March 1. LewMar Price, county agent, had been in Milford in the interest of organizing a 4-H club in the Milford Mil-ford high school. Dr. Lloyd Kohler had purchased the house west of the hospital. Mrs. W. A. Miller had entertained enter-tained with a bi-idal shower in honor of her niece, Miss Irene Tanner, a bride-to-be in April. Those present were Mrs. S. Tanner, Tan-ner, Mrs. E. Tanner, Mrs. T. Tanner, Tan-ner, Mrs. E. :Smyth, Mrs. B. Tait, Mrs. G. Pitchforth, Mrs. H. Elmer, Mrs. M. Griffiths, Mrs. D. Reese, Mrs. F. Farmer, Miss Juanita Miller, Miss Lee Smithson, Miss Mary Richards and Mrs. O. Steen. bock. Mr. and Mrs. Frank Osborn had entertained in honor of Mr. and Mrs. Lorin Osborn of Lynndyl. Those present were Mr. and Mrs. Wralter Griffiths', Mr, and Mi's. iSam Hickman, Sophia Wilson, Myrtle Osborn, Aileen Grimshaw, Edith Farnow, Aileen -Conger, Clarence Grimshaw, Ray Mills- and Dern Osborn.
