Show SOUTH MILFORD Mrs. Gene Turner and children of Los Angeles, California were visiting at the Roldo Tuner home last week. The older group of 4-H girls met at the home of Helen Baker Wednesday. The meeting was in charge of the supervisor, Mrs. Helen Gillins. Dorothy Weber gave a report on clothing types. The next meeting will be held at Mrs. Gillins' house July 30. Mrs. Roldo Turner entertained the Social Hour club last Thursday Thurs-day afternoon. After the business meeting, delicious refreshments were served to Mrs. Jacob Weber, Mrs. Ivan .MeKnight, Mrs. Leonard Leon-ard Bowen, Mrs. Charles Allred, Mrs. Carl Elmer, Mrs. William Baker and two invited guests, Mrs. William Broyles and Mrs. Clair Gillins. Several South Milford horses have died lately from brain fever. The veterinarian has been vaccinating vac-cinating quite a number this week. Mrs. William Baker entertained five of her sisters, two brothers-in-law and two nieces at her home Monday afternoon, the occasion being her birth anniversary. anniver-sary. Cline and Mrs. George Cockett of Beaver; Bea-ver; and Mrs. Elmer Marshall and two daughters, Phyllis and Barbara, Bar-bara, of Minersville. M |
