Show , MAGEJMATRE Sunday and Monday All the power and fury of the raging sea surged from Jack London's Lon-don's pen as he wrote his immortal immor-tal saga, "The Sea Wolf". The Firmage theatre will present the picture based on this book this Sunday and Monday. Edward G. Robinson, Ida Lupino and John I Garfield are starred in the pic- ture. "The Sea Wolf" is the gripping grip-ping story of a man who roamed I the sea like an evil bird of prey; Whose fierceness and brutality will amaze and thrill you. It is also the tale of a fear-crazed lonely girl a young and pretty derelict who finds herself fighting for her very life! The latest news and a specialty, "The Landing of the Prilgrims", also will be shown. Tuesday and Wednesday "Xice Girl?" comes to this theatre Tuesday and Wednesday with Deanna Durbin starring and although the material is of a maturity ma-turity beyond the young lady's previous assignments, the picture retains the charm and freshness which has distinguished all of them. Cast in this picture also is Franchot Tone, who plays a city man of whom the small town girl becomes enamoured, although she recovers from this emotion and resumes her romance with the small town beau, played by Robert Ro-bert Stack. The latest news, a specialty, "Bowling for Strikes", and a March of Time feature. "China Fights Back", also will be shown. Thursday and Friday Hey, western fans, your favorite favor-ite hero is back again! Yes sir, it's none other than Gene Autry in Republic's "Back in the Saddle", which comes to the Firmage theatre thea-tre Thursday and Friday as one of the pictures of a double feature fea-ture show. The supporting cast includes Edward Norris, Jacqueline- Wells, littlf Mary Ix-e, Addi-i Addi-i son Richards and Arthur Loft. Of i course. Smiley Burnette is very much present, with more than a laugh a minute. A warm and sympathetically compelling drama which skillfully delineates the adventures of a slum-reared hoy is presented in Republic's new film.
