Show LOOKING ! BACKWARD items of Interest from the FUee of The News of fifteen Years Ago ihis Week. . Mrs. James Land, who has been visiting her daugnter, Mrs. C. U Neuhart of Huntington Park, Cal. for the last two weeks, returned to her home in .Milford on Monday. Miss Mildred Killam, Howard Jones, Margaret Griffiths and Neil Boyter motored up to Beaver canyon can-yon Sunday afternoon. Mr. and Mrs. James Clay of Salt Lake City visited their parents, Mr. and Brs. James Clay, this week. Mrs. Erma Gillies visited with Mr. and Mrs. L. M. Robinson at their home at Rocky Ford Dam last week. Phyllis Levi, a student at the University of Utah who has been spending the holidays with her parents here, returned to continue parents here, returned last Sunday to continue her studies in Salt Lake City. Mr. and Mrs. J. G. Weber and Mrs. Walter Weber were among the South Milford visitors last week. Miss Loretla Murdoek, who has been spending the holidays with her mother, Mrs. Ivan McKnight ot South Milford, returned this week to Logan, where she is attending school. Following the regular meeting of the Milford Fire Department last Tuesday night at the fire hall, the incoming officers entertained the outgoing officers with a spread. New officers who assumed their duties in the ceparment on Jan- uary 1 and who also had charge of the entertainment are Tharold White, president; C. R. Holt, vice president; Max Root, secretary; Eugene Singleton, chief; Mark Waddoups and r.oy Carlson, trustees. Since-the election of officers, Roy White Jr. has been appointed assistant as-sistant chief by Chief Eugene Singleton. |
