Also visiting the classrooms were Ei-ma Bennet, Elementary supervisor super-visor for Beaver county, and Joe Smith, president of the county board of education. ". The visitors also attended the chorus and listened to the songs Mr. Farrer will present in his future fu-ture choral concerts. Mrs. Holm, with the aid of some of the Home Ec. girls, served din-der. din-der. The girls assisting Mrs. Holm were Rhonda Openshaw, Lois Muir, Carlie Waddoups, Nell Hughes and Gerrie Lund. Girls helping in the kitchen were Kath- ' lyn O'Leary, Joyce Scott, Afton Spainhower, Rae Bond and Lorraine Lor-raine Davis. The gentlemen departed from the school in the latter part of the afternoon. Everyone is tensely hoping Milford High will become n accredited school. I CHRISTMAS FESTIVAL TO BE HELD ! Again this year the students are preparing to- present a Christmas Festival. Last year they gave a Christmas Festival which turned out very successful, and the decorations dec-orations vere beautifully done to fit tho occasion. A definite date has not yet been decided upon, but it is believed it will be held after the choral concert con-cert of December 21. The student body and tho yearbook year-book staff are working together and will present the Christmas Festival, and then divide the funds equally. They hope to see everyone out to enjoy the decorations and the dance. HILLTOP ECHO PREPARES BANQUET In the years before, the staff of the Hilltop Echo has given a party omd dance. This year the staff members have decided to give a banquet and floor show. The staff, all girls, is inviting boys as their escorts and the banquet ban-quet should be very successful. DATES TO REMEMBER The Choral Concert will be held as scheduled on December 21, under un-der the direction of Kenneth Far- rer. The members will be dressed j in gowns. The sopranos will wear j white gowns and the boys and altos i will be in dark gowns, j The Senior Play will be hied De-i De-i cember 19 in the high school audi-i audi-i torium. The play is entitled "Cus- ter's Last Stand." Tickets are now on sale. ! Salor Rizk, lecturer, one of the series of civic concerts, will speak . December 14 in the high school auditorium. Season tickets may be used. |
