Show Legion Preparing For Convention; Also 'Days of '49 A red letter week-end for Mil-ford Mil-ford seems assured for Friday and Saturday, May 20-21, with 'the annual an-nual Forty-niners oelebration holding hold-ing forth on Friday and the annual an-nual district convention of Iht American Legion and the American Ameri-can Legion Auxiliary to be held j on Saturday. District, 7 of the i Legion setup includes Beaver, Mil-' Mil-' lard, Iron and Washington counties coun-ties and there should be large ; delegation from all of these post, let Ithe convention, with a good ' iproportion of them arriving the I day before so as Ito take in the j Forty-niners celebration, an event thalt has been for years one of the ! big annual crowd-drawing events j in Milford's activities, j Definite plans for the two-day j affair have not yet been formulated formu-lated but committees are busily at work and a celebration and convention con-vention that will be creditable to Milford are promised, including big dances both nights.
