Show Music Department Presents Recital The Milford high school music department, under the direction of Gordon LeSueur and accompanied by Carolyn Clay and Mrs. La-Chapelle, La-Chapelle, presented for the public Wednesday evening, a musical revue re-vue of the contest numbers to be presented at southern Utah's music festival, to be held April 25 at Cedar City. It was indeed a musical treat for the Milford community to witness such an excellent ex-cellent performance of so many well trained students. The program included six numbers num-bers by the junior band, three by the senior group, two numbers each by the boys' and girls' glee groups, three by the mixed chorus and one number by the brass sextet, sex-tet, composed of Jack Davis, Blair Coon, Colleen Myers, Albert Smith, Gael Elmer and Harvey Voorhees. Also included were a baritone solo by Gal Elmer; a french horn solo by Duke Memmott; aIto solo, Colleen Col-leen Myers; trombone solo, Albert Smith; baritone solo, Lee Rogers; sousaphone solo, Harvey Voorhees; cornet solo, Jack Davis; isoprano solo, Elaine Albrecht. The Milford high school girls physical education department will present a dance revue, "Dancing for Victory," Wednesday, April 29, at 8:15 p.m. The dances will include in-clude folk, iitterpretatirve, ballet, tap, acrobatic ballet, and modern dances. Pre -school, elementary school and junior and senior high school girls will participate a total of 75 girls. The public is invited in-vited to attend free of charge. |
